Youth arrested after bomb threat at Halifax mall

A weekend shopping trip was briefly interrupted for some.

Halifax Shopping Centre was evacuated late Saturday afternoon.

In an email to our newsroom, Halifax Regional Police say officers responded to a bomb threat at the mall at about 4:00 p.m.

They confirmed there was no bomb.

Police say they arrested a youth.
