HRM wants your say on a housing strategy

You can have your say on what will be the first Housing Strategy launched by HRM.

The city says there is an online survey to complete, which will be available until November 30.

The goal is to clarify what role the city will have when it comes to housing and evaluate current affordable housing programs.

HRM will also establish a framework that will build on past work and current housing programs, as we continue to move forward.

The strategy will focus within the city’s jurisdiction while focusing on investments from the federal and provincial governments.

The Housing Strategy will be adopted by Regional Council in the fall of 2026.
