A water main has burst on Waverley Road in Dartmouth.
Halifax Water says it happened between Jaybe Drive and Breeze Drive, according to an alert sent around 6:30 p.m. The area is open to local traffic only.
Crews are on scene, but there is no estimated time of restoration yet, the utility says.
They ask drivers to avoid the area, consider alternate routes, and expect delays.
