Boil order lifted for Waverley, Keystone Village areas

You can drink water again in the Waverley area.

Halifax Water has lifted a boil order that went out Sunday following a burst water main in the area.

About 2,000 customers will be able to drink the water again in the areas of Waverley Road, Spider Lake, Montague Road, Keystone Village, Port Wallace, Montebello, Craigwood Estates, and Avenue du Portage.

Make sure to flush water machines and other appliances for ten minutes before use, and throw out any ice cubes made during the boil order.
