Alderney ferry service reduced until further notice

The Alderney ferry is going to make less trips across the harbour.

HRM says until further notice, service will be reduced to every 30 minutes, instead of every 15 minutes on weekdays between 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 p.m.

It’s because of repairs needed on the Vincent Coleman vessel, which had a mechanical issue last week.

The Woodside ferry is running every 15 minutes on weekdays during peak hours.

Updates will be provided on the Halifax Transit service disruptions webpage and on Halifax Transit and municipal social media platforms.
