Some damaged equipment led to a massive power outage in the Upper Tantallon area Monday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., about 2,000 customers were in the dark. As of about 8:30 a.m., that outage was reduced to 778.
The cause is damaged overhead equipment, according to the Nova Scotia Power outage map. There is no word yet on what led to the damage.
They estimate the power should be back on for everyone by 10 a.m.
