Alderney ferry coming back to service after long weekend

One of the ferries at Alderney Landing is about to be back in service.

The city says the Vincent Coleman will be running Tuesday, May 19, at 10:15 a.m.

It means the service will go back to every 15 minutes on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.

The Vincent Coleman has been out of service since January due to a steering system issue that required replacement parts.

It will return after testing and sea trials.

The Craig Blake ferry continues with scheduled inspections and a significant repair and will not be available for service until later this year.
