Today marks the one year anniversary of the murder of 8 year old, Lee’Marion Shancez Cain.
On December 21, 2021 at around 4pm, officers responded to a shooting involving two vehicles at the intersection of Windmill road and Waddell Avenue in Dartmouth.
Shots were fired from another vehicle hitting a 26 year old man and Lee’Marion.
They were transported to hospital where Lee’Marion did not survive. The man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
There is video footage and the suspects are described as Black men in their 20’s-30’s driving a burgundy Chevrolet Traverse with tinted windows
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
