Earth Day parade on Halifax waterfront Saturday

The Ecology Action Centre and Grandmother’s Grassroots Circle, are putting on a parade on the Halifax waterfront to celebrate Earth Day Saturday, April 22.

It is scheduled to start 2pm at the Wave at Sackville Landing and end at the Peace and Friendship Park on Hollis St.

Food and activities will continue through from 3pm until 5pm.

Organizers suggest :

* Please bring your own lawn chair if you are able to.
* Please bring your own travel mug or water bottle if you can.
* Please consider wearing a face mask when it is crowded.
