Bluenose Marathon in town this weekend

There will be lots of activity in town this weekend.

The Bluenose Marathon is coming to town once again, and with it, lots of street closures, including the Mcdonald Bridge.

The event will also impact parking and disrupt transit, with detours in place, through the north end of Halifax.

If you are running in the marathon, you can ride the bus or ferry for free Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you just have prove your participation with your run bib.

The city is asking drivers to allow for extra travel time.
