Ian Gets Called Up To The NHL This Monday

I’m thrilled to once again be “called up” to the NHL to be the Public Address Announcer for the preseason game this coming Monday, October 2nd in Halifax for the “Nova Scotia Showdown” between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Ottawa Senators.
The sold-out game will feature some of our own home-grown Nova Scotia players including: Drake Batherson of New Minas, for the Senators, plus for the Pens: Ryan Graves of Yarmouth and Cole Harbour’s Sidney Crosby!
This is a “Bucket List” game to announce, especially if # 87 scores a goal!
Here are a few of my lanyard badges from previous Halifax NHL games over the years:
I can’t wait to add another lanyard to the collection and welcome home 3-time Stanley Cup champion, 2-time Olympic Gold medalist & Cole Harbour native Sidney Crosby and his Pens taking on the Sens this Monday at the Scotiabank Centre in downtown Halifax.
