Power is out for many in Dartmouth.
The lights went off around 7 a.m. for about 6000 customers from Portland Street to Keystone village.
Traffic has slowed to a crawl along Main Street in the morning rush.
Nova Scotia Power says it was caused by a transmission interruption.
They say the lights should be back on by about 9 a.m.
