Kenny Chesney and June Carter Cash Officially in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Fan Faints at a Ella Langley Show

On Hot Country mornings with Jody & Melody we shared with you that Kenny Chesney, June Carter Cash, and Tony Brown were all officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this weekend.

During Kenny’s speech he brought up a conversation he had with Megan Moroney after a concert.

She asked him if he ever let himself feel accomplished, and Kenny said until that night he really hadn’t. But once he saw himself surrounded by all of his heroes in the Country Hall’s rotunda he finally felt a sense of accomplishment.

Chesney closed his speech out with a bit of wisdom from his early touring days with Alabama.

One time Kenny was complaining about being tired, so Teddy Gentry told him, “Wait until you’ve been out here 42 years, then you can be tired.” Kenny laughed and said, “He was right.”

You can view Kenny Chesney’s speech below.

AND we shared with you that Ella Langley turned a tense moment into a lighthearted one during a recent show on her Still Hungover Tour.

She was performing at a show in Helotes, Texas, when a fan near the front of the stage appeared to faint, Ella handled it like the pro she is. Ella and her band kept on playing lightly, with a little freestyle diddy and added some on the spot lines.

She sang, “Security over here, I think there is something over here right now. Yeah, we’re going to figure it out and make sure nobody’s passing out.”

A little reminder to her fans to hydrate.

@love.country.music There was a minor problem at the Ella Langley show tonight. This is how she handled it. @Ella Langley #ellalangley #ellalangleylive #helotestx #fyp ♬ original sound – love.country.music
