A scary situation after a person fell into the Halifax harbour while taking a ride on a city operated ferry boat.
The Coast Guard and other rescue crews sprung into action and were able to help out quickly and take them to shore.
The person was taken to hospital but condition is unknown.
It is not clear what led to the mishap aboard the ferry.
Crossing at the Alderney Landing Terminal were called for a while but have since resumed.
Due an ongoing situation at the Alderney Ferry Terminal, the following ferry crossings have been cancelled:
Departing Alderney at 14:45 & 15:15
Departing Halifax at 15:00 & 15:30
