There was a heavy police presence in an area of downtown Dartmouth, Wednesday.
Police say they were on scene after man in his 50’s was assaulted around 8:30 a.m. on Wyse Rd
He was injured and taken to hospital.
Police say the investigation is in its early stages, so police will be on scene for an extended period of time.
Anyone with information or video of the incident, is asked to call police.
