SiRT looking for driver of SUV, witnesses of fatal collision

The province’s police watch dog wants to talk to the driver of a dark-coloured SUV after a fatal collision two months ago.

SiRT says the vehicle was passed by police and a black truck, February 26, right before the collision happened around 7:05 p.m. on Glen Arbour Way.

It was after a traffic stop when a pick-up truck, sped onto Glen Arbour Way, hit a power pole near Skye Cres and ended up in the ditch.

A 22-year-old Bedford man was pronounced dead at the scene.

SiRT is now looking for more information.
