A sure sign of summer!
The Halifax Common Aquatics Facility will open Saturday.
Located on the common between Cogswell Street and Bell Road, it has a 25m five-lane pool, three climbing walls, beach entry with play features and large universal change rooms.
Activities like lane swimming, swimming lessons and open swims will be offered.
According to the Halifax Regional Municipality website, there will be a limited Monday-Friday schedule until the end of June, with the regular schedule beginning July 1st.
The Halifax Common outdoor pool will remain open at all times, with the exception of thunder and lightning storms.
No pre-bookings are required to access the pool – access is free on a first-come basis.
The Bedford and Cole Harbour outdoor pools open on Canada Day.
