A section of Caldwell Rd is closed and close to 3,000 Nova Scotia Power customers were without electricity in areas such as Woodside, Eastern Passage, Caldwell and Shearwater, Monday.
RCMP say a dump truck hit power lines shutting down the roadway between Atholea Rd and Hines Rd.
Caldwell is expected to be closed for a while but according to the Nova Scotia Power website, electricity has been restored.
