If you live in Herring Cove, CFB Halifax is giving you a heads up if you see a helicopter flying overhead that appears to be in flames.
The base will be doing helicopter nighttime firefighting training.
They say these training sessions happen two times a year to make sure military members are prepared for a fire on ships and aircrafts after dark.
CFB Halifax says even though the flames are fairly large, they are fully under control.
The training will be Thursday, July 18, 8 p.m. to 11p.m.
