73-year-old with serious injuries after knife assault in Lower Sackville

A 73-year-old man has serious injuries after a home invasion in Lower Sackville.

RCMP say it was Sunday when a man with a knife entered the front door and assaulted the victim in a bedroom.

The Lower Sackville man was taken to hospital.

The other three adults who were in the home were not hurt.

An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested and is facing weapons, assault and breaking and entering charges.

Police say the two men know each other and the suspect targeted the man.

He appeared in court, Monday.
