Power back on at Dartmouth Crossing after outage caused traffic gridlock

The power is back on at a massively popular shopping area in Dartmouth, Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Nova Scotia Power outage map just before 1 p.m., over 400 customers were in the dark at Dartmouth Crossing, including stores like Walmart and Canadian Tire.

It caused a hiccup for those wanting to shop as well as traffic gridlock.

The utility says the cause was from damage to underground equipment.

Lights came back on just before 3 p.m.
