ER at QEII affected after flooding

There is some water damage at the emergency department at the QEII after flooding last weekend.

Nova Scotia Health says they have surveyed the damage, and it will take several weeks to repair.

It happened on the evening of Sunday, November 10, after the sprinkler system was activated.

Public Health says you should still go to the emergency room or call 911, if you have urgent needs.

If your condition is less urgent, they suggest mobile care clinics, virtual care, your family doctor, pharmacy care clinics, YourHealthNS app or call 811.
