2 weeks from Scotia Square terminal reopening in next phase of Cogswell project

A heads up from the city.

Another huge milestone in the Cogswell District project is exactly two weeks away.

The Scotia Square terminal is reopening, and according to HRM, it will be even bigger and better.

The major upgrades include wider sidewalks and waiting areas, additional and heated shelters as well as more seating.

Trees and landscaping will be added in 2025.

In addition, Valour Way will fully reopen, which connects to the roundabout as well as Cogswell Street and transit lanes on Barrington Street.

As part of the project, for the past six months, 30 transit routes have been on detour, affecting not only drivers, but riders, cyclists and local businesses.

The terminal opens Monday, December 16.
