Residents in the Pleasantville area may notice an increased police presence as RCMP respond to an ongoing incident.
Lunenburg County RCMP say a person has barricaded themselves inside a home in the 700 block of Highway 331.
Police say there is currently no immediate risk to the public, but officers remain at the scene.
The road is closed in the area, and motorists are being asked to avoid the scene while the situation unfolds.
