Tributes are pouring in as news spreads that the drummer for Foo Fighters Taylor Hawkins has died.
Hawkins was found in a hotel room in Colombia. He was 50. No word on the cause of death.
The band posted the news and asked for the public’s support as they come to terms with this devastating loss.

Taylor in this clip talks about Dave Grohl’s mom and her influence on their lives.
The loss for Dave Grohl of his close friend is bad enough. But of course this is the second time he has lost a band member. Frontman for Nirvana Kurt Cobain died in April of 1994 and Grohl was the drummer. Now as the frontman for the Foos he has lost his drummer.

In his book The Storyteller Dave Grohl said his chance meeting with Taylor was “love at first sight.”
