A pedestrian was hit by a Halifax Transit bus while at a cross walk this morning.

It was just after 7 when police responded to the collision at the intersection of Joseph Howe Drive and the on ramp to the 102.

The bus was making a right hand turn onto the highway, when the pedestrian was struck in the crosswalk.

The pedestrian was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene and the driver was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
