Monday’s cancelled curbside collection in HRM moved to weekend

HRM residents watching their garbage pile up must wait a little longer to see it hauled away.

Monday’s solid waste collection was cancelled due to the snowstorm, so recovery will happen Saturday, February 10th.

According to the HRM website, curbside limits will also be relaxed this Saturday and Monday, February 12th.

To ensure pick-up, the city asks that if you live on a private lane which collection vehicles can’t access, to please take your waste to the main road.

The permanent Household Special Waste Depot located at 20 Horseshoe Lake Drive will be closed on Saturday, February 10th.

Meanwhile, Tuesday curbside collection has resumed.
