Two 13-year-olds charged for threats written in schools

Two 13-year-olds have been charged after threats were written in schools in our region.

Halifax police say the teens are charged for two separate incidents.

The first is from threats written in Fairview Junior High School, May1.

The second was at Rocky Lake Junior High School, May 3.

Two other teens, 15 and 16-years-old were also arrested for threats made at J.L. Ilsley High School, May 7.

All four will appear in court at a later date.

Police say since April 1, there have 25 threat bomb threats written in schools.

Officers checked each location and were not able to find anything.
