Roundabout open on Barrington St in next phase of Cogswell project

A big milestone in the Cogswell District Project.

The city says the roundabout at Barrington and Nora Bernard Street is now open.

You can enter it from Upper Water and Barrington St.

Barrington had been down to one lane in both directions to finish construction on this step causing a lot of congestion.

Work will continue in this area for the next couple of weeks, until crews move onto the next phase around Upper Cogswell.

That is expected to be completed by December.

The entire project is projected to be done by the end of 2025.
