UPDATE: Four-vehicle collision slows traffic on Bayers Road in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police are responding to a four-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bayers Road and Romans Avenue.

The crash was reported around 3:10 p.m., and officers remain on scene managing traffic and assisting with the investigation.

There is no word yet on whether anyone was injured. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes, as delays are expected while emergency crews work.

Traffic along Bayers Road remains slow in both directions, and the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. Police have not released information about the cause of the collision.

Halifax Regional Police told our newsroom that as of 4:00 p.m., the collision has cleared. No details were provided on what led to the collision, but HRP says no one was seriously injured.
