The Halifax Pride Festival is officially underway.
This year’s theme is Flourish @ Pride.
A week of pride week events kicked off with a rainbow pancake breakfast Thursday morning.
The pride flag-raising is set for 5 p.m. at Grand Parade.
Among the many Pride week events are picnics, parties, music, roller derby — and the naked peace protest ride and march.
The Halifax Pride Parade happens Saturday at noon.
