Crews are working to restore electricity for thousands in Halifax on Friday morning.
According to the Nova Scotia Power outage map as of 8:45 a.m., more than 5,000 customers are impacted in the west end, south end and downtown.
The utility says it is due to damage to overhead equipment.
They estimate the power will be restored by 10:30 a.m.
