Another dog left in hot car, this time in Bedford

A man will have to pay a $700 ticket for leaving a dog in a hot car in Bedford.

It’s at least the third incident since Friday.

Officers picked up the call just after 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Police say a dog was left alone in a vehicle with all the windows up.

The officer was able to free the dog and the man was given a ticket when he came back to the car.

If you see a pet in immediate distress, call 902-490-5020 and take directions from the call taker.
