Power restored on Halifax peninsula after early morning outage

Around 5,200 Nova Scotia power customers in the heart of Halifax started their days without power.

An outage that impacted home from Bayers Road to Inglis Street began around 7:15 a.m.

Power began coming back on in the impacted areas around 10:00 a.m.

Nova Scotia Power has not yet indicated what caused the outage.
