Man arrested for homicide in Halifax

A man has been charged with second degree murder for a homicide in Halifax.

Police say they have arrested a 40-year-old man on Friday, November 28 for the murder of 59-year-old Troy Clayton from Halifax.

Clayton was injured during a dispute on Gottingen Street on Wednesday, November 26.

The charged man is scheduled to appear in court Monday, December 1.

Investigators do not believe it was a random incident.

No further details will be shared as the case is still under investigation.
