Power back after more than 2,500 customers were in the dark near Peggy’s Cove

Power is back for most of the 2,500 customers who were in the dark on the coast near Peggy’s Cove Friday morning.

It happened shortly after 7 a.m. Friday, and the cause was unclear.

The outage stretched from Upper Tantallon and along the coast to East Dover.

The lights were back by 10 a.m., except for a hndaful of customers between Glen Margaret and Hacketts Cove.
