Police remove two tents from Halifax Common

Two more tents on the Halifax Common have been taken down.

It’s part of a police crackdown against people camping or living in public places.

It started a week ago and led to a massive protest with about two-dozen arrests.

Police are stopping in areas of the city where tents and shelters are set up on a case-by-case bases.

They say people are given time to leave and options to find a place to stay for the time-being.
