Potential COVID-19 exposure list (September 8)

Public Health is warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 in Cape Breton and on an Air Canada flight.

Anyone who worked at or visited the following locations on the specified dates and times should book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.

You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

For the following location, if you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

If you have symptoms you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

  • MacDonald’s (1417 Welton Street, Sydney) on September 7 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 21.

Anyone who was on the following flight in the specified rows and seats are required to follow the isolation and testing instructions in this table as a high risk contact.

  • Air Canada 668 travelling on September 4 from Montreal (10:32 p.m.) to Halifax (1:03 a.m. on September 5) Passengers in rows 30-36, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 19.
