Potential threat briefly puts Halifax junior high on alert

A junior high school in Halifax was briefly placed under a hold and secure due a potential threat the community.

The safety measure was lifted just before noon at St. Agnes Junior High.

When put in place, it means doors are locked but classes are going on as usual.

It’s not clear at this time what the issue is but police are investigating.
