Police say Carl Richard Nielsen, 76, was arrested Tuesday after a sexual assault investigation in Dartmouth.
They say Nielsen assaulted a teen he knew between June and September of 2021.
Police say he was in contact with the victim and other teens under 16, which was a violation of his prohibition order.
Nielsen is set to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court to face charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, and breach of prohibition order.
