3 charged with firearms offences in Timberlea

Three people are charged with firearms offences following a disturbance in Timberlea.

RCMP responded to an apartment complex on St. Margaret’s Bay Road after a report of a man yelling about having a gun on June 6th just after midnight.

A 25-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man parked nearby were arrested for having open liquor in a vehicle.

Officers also found a modified firearm, ammunition, and what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine in the vehicle.

A 31-year-old male suspect was located nearby and also arrested.

The two men charged were remanded into custody to appear in court Monday, while the woman was released and will appear in July.
