Three kittens found in mail box, SPCA investigating

The SPCA is asking for your help after three kittens were found dropped into a Canada Post mailbox.

A letter carrier found the kittens with minor injuries on Monday outside 76 Regency Park Drive in Halifax.

One kitten was five months old. Two were six weeks old.

Deputy chief inspector Kevin Strooband called this abuse unacceptable.

But the kittens are now in the care of the SPCA.

SPCA investigators ask anyone with information about ownership or where the kittens were between Friday and Monday to contact them.

Only a week ago the Bide Awhile animal shelter rescued two dozen kittens in need of a home.
