Saturday at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, a Halifax Mooseheads fan was seen in the crowd among the thousands of fans!
Turns out it was Shane Wall from right here in Halifax taking in the 86th tourney.
It was quite a weekend for Shane to be taking in Tiger Woods mania.
Tiger shot rounds of 71, 74, 78 and 78. As he finished up the tournament yesterday, you could see him using his club as a cane and his right leg limp became more noticeable.
But to think he was in a hospital bed a year ago, this was quite the comeback just to be there.
Tiger says he will play in the British Open later this year.
Scottie Sheffler won the Masters green jacket at just 25 years of age.
It was cool to see he and his wife Meredith make the stroll to the Clubhouse as they are high school sweethearts.
Scottie wins 2.7 million dollars for finishing first and taking his first major golf title!
It was a great weekend that’ll set the mood for getting out on our own Nova Scotia golf courses.
