A Special Fan Was At The Mooseheads Game Last Night

At the Halifax Mooseheads game last night there was a special fan, David Craig who sat at the bottom of Section 20 with his co-workers from the ILA Local 269 Longshoreman crew from the Fairview container pier in Halifax.

David is fighting his battle with cancer and they all wore blue t-shirts for him.

David is a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan who was in Toronto last weekend to see his Leafs beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 on April 9th.

While in Leafs Nation he got to meet Leafs Head Coach Sheldon Keefe, get an autographed Auston Matthews Leafs jersey and more.

Last night here in Moose Country, David was a part of the Mooseheads 2nd intermission shoot-out and he got all the shots in the net to score $250.00!

His crew also won 10 feet of Subway subs to cap off the night for cheering on the Herd and being the “Moosemaniacs” of the game.

I was at the Midtown with my son for a pregame meal and saw David and his crew there having a great time.

So keep fighting the fight David from Moose Country and Hot Country!

Go Moose and Go Leafs Go!
