Ian’s Hockey Joke Book Is On The Way

Well, today is a big day as it’s the deadline for the manuscript for my first book tentatively titled “The Hockey Joke Book, Laugh Your Faceoff!”
It contains 365 hockey jokes, one for each day of the year, all kid friendly for ages 5 to 99!
The book will be something that kids can take on hockey road trips, to their games to read in the dressing room or take to school for a recess read.
Thanks to Vernon Oickle of MacIntyre Purcell Publishing in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia for approaching me to do this project, it was truly a labour of love the last several months.
The book will be released across North America in August 2023.
A sample with this being cold and flu season:
Why did the hockey player take Buckley’s?
Because they kept coughing up the puck!
Want another one?
Why did the hockey player go to the movie theatre?
To screen the goalie.
and for the hat trick:
What does a ghost wear on Halloween?
A score sheet. #Hahaha
Yours in hockey humour,
-Ian (Public Address Announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads since 1997.)
