The 2024 Fight4Life calendar will be the best yet. This is year 5 for this iconic and meaningful calendar.
Fight4Life Halifax is a charity that was established in memory of fallen firefighter, Kyle Currie, a Halifax Regional & Emergency firefighter who died, in 2018, due to complications from PTSD.
This charity was formed by Kyle’s family, co-workers, and friends who witnessed, first-hand, the devastating effects that PTSD can have on first responders and their loved ones.
As we know all too well, 2023 has been quite a year for first responders, media and all Nova Scotians who suffered loss during the challenging times of the Spring and Summer floods and fires.

So, to honor all those people who persevered so much, Fight4Life would like to dedicate this year’s calendar in thanks and recognition to all Nova Scotia’s first responders who served and fought to protect Nova Scotian’s during the wildfires and floods in the summer of 2023. Fight4life is a grassroots charity, whose funding goes 100% to HRM Professional Firefighters.

Calendars will be for sale at the Halifax Shopping Center Entrance 1 this Friday November 17th from 10am-4pm.
On this Saturday, November 18th, Santa arrives at Mic Mac Mall via a fire truck then escorted by HRM firefighters through the mall to wake up Woody, then will head to Fight4Life and finally to his stop. Fight4Life will be at entrance 4 by Winners all day until 4:00.
Starting Sunday, November 19th and the following two weekends, they are back selling calendars at HSC entrance 1.
