Congratulations to our friends the James Barker Band on making their Grand Ole Opry debut Tuesday night on the big stage in Nashville. The JJB posted this on Instagram: “Our dreams came true last night… Four small town Canadian boys are without a doubt Living The Dream ⭐️ Thank you so much @opry @wsmradio for making last night unforgettable! We love y’all and we will remember these moments we shared together forever. Country music’s biggest stage. JBB Debut. Wow. ❤️” They were also sharing the stage with Lainey Wilson.   • Ian Robinson is a lifelong Bluenoser and has been on Nova Scotia radio since 1984. Since 1997, he has been the Public Address Announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL with over 1,100 games announced, and since 2024, has been the Voice of the Halifax Thunderbirds of the National Lacrosse League in “The Nest.”

    Spending time with his wife and two boys is his favourite thing to do.
