Blood Donations Are Down In Halifax

Yesterday I made O negative blood donation number 54.

Nurse Wendy at the Bayers Road Halifax clinic for Canadian Blood Services says that donations have been slow, and numbers are down.

So, if you can spare an hour, they would love to see you.

My donation was another special one in memory of my brother-in-law Doug as it was his birthday yesterday, May 22nd. He sadly lost his battle with cancer.

Did you know cancer patients rely on blood donations during their battles?
