The Halifax Thunderbirds Season Has Ended

It wasn’t the result the Halifax Thunderbirds wanted on the weekend as they fell 10-9 in overtime to the Saskatchewan Rush who swept the T-Birds in semi-final action.

But what a historical season it was for Halifax.
The organization finished the year tied for a franchise-best 11 victories while hosting and winning their first home playoff contest in Halifax franchise history and advancing to the National Lacrosse League semi-finals for the first time in franchise history!
There were several sellout crowds with 10,595 in the Nest proving that Halifax is a serious lacrosse market.
On a personal note, I just want to say thank you to the Thunderbirds for welcoming me into the family this season, my first official season as their Public Address Announcer.
From the management, coaches, players, staff and of course the FANS!

Thanks for rockin’ “The Nest” on every goal call, crowd noise prompt and player intro.
Can’t wait to get back this December to Feel the Thunnnnderrrrr!!!
