Halifax Mooseheads Training Camp Opened On The Weekend

Your Halifax Mooseheads opened their training camp on Saturday in Dartmouth with 49 players reporting.

Some of them had a job getting here with the current Air Canada situation and some players gear didn’t make it to Moose Country.

Intra-squad games have begun at the RBC Centre on Commodore Drive in Burnside with Team White beating Team Green 8-3 this morning. Another game is on at 3 pm this afternoon that’s free and open to the public.

The Herd’s preseason action begins Tuesday night up in Sydney facing the Cape Breton Eagles then a rematch is this Wednesday night, August 20th at 7 pm for a sold out game at the St. Margaret’s Centre in Tantallon.

This will be fun game as current Mooseheads Quinn Kennedy, Owen Phillips and Calum Aucoin all grew up playing in that rink for TASA, so it will be one to remember.
